High 31 degrees (2.47pm) Low 24 degrees (1.50am)
SNOW: Snow flakes were reported in the area during the early hours of Christmas Morning.
Snowcover: 4″
A day dominated by overnight and early morning cloudiness and milder temperatures thanks to that cloudcover. A milder day overall but clearer skies broke out by midmorning allowing for beautiful Christmas Day winter sunshine over the brilliantly white snowcovered landscape with trees covered in hoar frost from recent fog forming within nighttime temperatures in the teens. It really was picture-perfect. After a few hours of sunshine, clouds once again rolled in, keeping temps milder than the previous day. Tonight skies should remain mostly cloudy but cooling may occur allowing a low comparable to this mornings 24 degrees. We have a chance of some snow that may add another 1-2 inches possibly and we may wake up to snow falling. Tomorrow’s high likely to top out around 31 degrees once again.
