>Todays Extremes here at my house
High 33 degrees (12.32am) Low 28 degrees (4.11am)
SNOW: Frequent snow showers throughout the day, some heavy
Snowcover: Between 3-4 inches
A day of heavy cloudiness and frequent snow showers that has been ushered in on a south wind, adding to the snow already on the ground. All the snow and low cloud held the temperature at 32 degrees from first light to dark this evening, the actual high for the day of 33 degrees was achieved just after midnight during an overnight warming period which may have been a result of a south wind which brought milder air up from the south between dinnertime last night and 12.30am this morning. Tonight skies are likely to clear and therefore we have a good chance at temperatures falling rapidly through the 20s, whether we can creep below the seasonal low or not is a good question, because we’re still cloud as of 7.20pm and only at 31 degrees, we may not have a long enough period to drop to such a low.
