>Today’s Extremes here at my house
High 35 degrees (1.16pm) Low 31 degrees (10.17am)
RAIN/SNOW: None
Another very foggy overnight with low or even dangerous visibilty in the more concentrated rural areas. The exceptionally damp air allowed moisture to collect and thus with lower temperatures, surfaces formed a slippery glaze. It was generally a similar day to yesterday with a mostly sunny sky with areas of high cloud. Dense fog lingered throughout the day in places the sun struggled to reach, areas of Glasgow and across bodies of water remained fogbound including here at the house. Where the sun shawn, temps rebounded into the low and even mid-40s but were it didn’t, the high struggled to climb out of the mid-30s. High pressure overhead is making this stagnent high not push out lowlying valley fog… Tonight, another fogbound, cold, damp night with a low expected to level off at around 30 degrees. The fog is keeping nights warmer and days cooler!

    >I have been shivering here in deepest Glencoe. I found a squirrel frozen to my windshield this morning, which indicates the freeze-thaw conditions.
