>Coldest night of November and to be honest, the temperature has dropped lower than I thought.

It’s currently 24.4F/-4C here at the house whilst out at Glasgow Airport there is a chillier 21 degrees/-6C. Many areas across central Scotland has dropped to very low levels and despite a system pushes rain across the country later today but not expected to bring it’s warming clouds in from the Atlantic till beyond 8am, we still have potential for further falling of the thermometer. I have predicted 22 here that is still a good bet, furthermore, the 21 in Glasgow could possibly fall into the teens. The Highland Glens is very likely to see low teens this morning. There is some snow up there which may aid in dropping ther lows up there. Perhaps a 10-12F/-12/-10C degree low is possible is some of the colder high Glens.

Theis frost stretches well into the heart of England and Wales also with lows which could fall into the upper teens at places like Shap (a known English cold spot) on the high eastern fringe of the Lake District…

More on this later!

Thanks for reading.
