>Stormy weather both sides of the pond

>We are now into a new pattern, one that is dominated more by stormy consitions rather than cold and snowy.

Tonight here in Lennoxtown, Scotland, Gales have been forecasted with gusts across the Scottish central belt predicted to top 60 mph.

Across the USA like Great Britain, a Pacific and Atlantic barrage will likely set up shop for a while as the Arctic door closes and mild, maritime air blows across the continents of the Northern Hemisphere.

I am expecting over the next few weeks some nasty low’s that will roar onto the West Coast bringing hurricane force winds, torrential rains and high elevation snows. These lows will progress west to east and likely by tapping gul warmth and moiture may experience some nasty severe weather outbreak from the Deep South to Ohio Valley. The UK, Netherlands, France and into the central portion of Europe may endure some strong Atlantic low’s which bring severe gales to exposed coasts and dump heavy rains on many areas. A hemisphere-wide pattern that will be the dominanant weather regime for the new few weeks as the Arctic reloads.

Sorry for the brief post, I hope to post more substantially tomorrow.

A reminder to those here in the UK, remember your clocks go BACK tonight!

Thanks for reading.
