>Snow Globe

>Is it just my imagination or are we seeing a heck of a lot of snow falling the past few years, oh say, over the American West, Canadian Rockies, the Midwest and New England as well as back to back blockbuster snow years over the Alps of Europe.

Even Australasia has been seeing what seems like higher than normal amounts of snowfall there between Australia and New Zealand. Must be global warming huh!

Well, The Midwest has seen remarkable and record breaking snowfall the past TWO consecutive winters because of the big picture pattern, La Nina, reduction of Pacific Ocean temperature and the progression of the Cold Corridor or Cold Shadow across the North American continent.

The European Alps have seen two straight winters of blockbuster snow years…

Are we rebuilding our glaciers? Not just because of the fact that over thelast two years we have seen major snow years in key areas and on the western ranges of the continents but we are seeing higher amounts of “late season snow”. Remember 48 inches at Browning, Mont in June 08, or the 50+ inches at Lead South Dakota in May 08.

Evidence of rebuilding glaciers in Alaska…

Could we now be seeing later ends to winter and early ends of summer as snowfall may just be increasing globally as the cooling down of earth rises the level of water vapor. What happens when the temperatyre drops to colder levels with water vapor present? Yep, you guessed corrently, SNOWFALL!

I believe we are seeing the early signature to a glacial advance period which will start and continue for the next 30 years before the earth cools and bottoms out and then begins warming once again. After the point in which theearth bottoms out around 2030, we will have seen significant cold records across the world rewritten!

Check out these stories of how the big snows are already blanketing 4 continents with snow, early ski seasons will take places across many areas of the world. Heck it’s only Sept…
