This will be short unfortunately as it’s now 11.19pm and have been up since 4am and on the heels of a busy 7-day work week. Thankfully I can enjoy time off now until Monday and plenty of time will be spent now on in watching Bill closely.

A tornado was reported to have touched down just to the south of Downtown Minneapolis, for more click here http://wcco.com/. This event hot on the heels of a line of powerful thunderstorms that ripped across New York City last night which produced heavy rain, violent thunder and lightning and roaring 70-80 mph straight line winds that was responsible for downing hundreds of large, old trees across Central Park. Damage to other areas of the city are unknown to me untill I research this event further tomorrow.

Meanwhile, it’s all eyes on Bill. Latest computer runs of many of the models are taking a slightly more adjusted westward track.. Bill’s now effecting surrounding weather patterns with even a possibility of “pumping” the ridge that’s been steering Bill westward and by pumping the ridge as it ejects heat into the upper levels it may force Bill further west. It is also feeling the trough to it’s north and therefore Bill has commenced it’s northwest movement. However, powerful hurricane’s can push trough’s back west a bit and it looks like the models are seeing this… The overall situation is complex and I shall explain in greater detail tomorrow where I think things will go from here with Bill.

I remain concerned that Bill could still be an East Coast problem and make landfall between Hattaras and New England.. My original ideas released on this blog a few days ago, remain..

Stay tuned and have a great night’s sleep everyone.
